UMBRELLA INK

TATTOO STUDIO

Our 4th of July fundraiser was a huge success! With the help of our Umbrella Ink clients and shop family, we were able to raise over $1000 and a gang of donated household goods for the Respite House….

We are incredibly proud of our artists Kevin Cole, Emilio Saylor, Scotty Knows and mAry D, as well as our counter girl extraordinaire Kat  for such a smooth day. A huge thanks to all of our volunteers including Melissa for managing the activities, her daughter Karissa for doing children tattoos, Aaron for his grill skills, Belt and Gritty for his generous donations, and Corey Dennison for his amazing performance of acoustic country blues and Phil for running errands all day. Thank you to C.C.S Canopies for the tent and chairs, the Draft house for their gift certificate and auction items, Thorgren Tool and Die for the custom cups that they provided, Mike and Corinne, Tony V and his mom Patti for their generosity, and of course the friends of the Respite House for coming and hanging out all day (and bringing so much cool information to educate our clients about the therapeutic community). For more info on the Respite House, or to make further donations, please check em out atwww.respitehouse.org.
Again, a huge THANK YOU!!!  to everyone for the awesome day, we can’t wait to see you all again!
Our next big event will be our annual Popcorn Fest celebration on September 6th, 2014—we heard a rumor that not only will Corey Dennison (www.coreydennison.net) be performing a full scale concert, but we might also get that bouncy house we always wanted (hold my shoes!). More info on this to come!
